I had the pleasure of meeting the Arias Family this weekend. Darlene was worried about the cold weather and little Juliana getting over a cold so we planned on a quick session. We met at the San Gabriel Mission (my first time there-which is a shame because its a family church for past generations) and it was beautiful! I’ll definitely go back to do some family research and of course for more photo sessions.
The setting was perfect and so were the Arias’! They were so photogenic and very easy going! I had a great time with them. Little Juliana was sweet-she just loves her Mommy. I miss that attachment when my own kids were toddlers. It’s always nice seeing new families-there’s always a sweet love! Thank you Arias Family!

Yesterday I had the sweetest session! I met 4 week old Louie and 4 year old Linda. Louie was as content as can be! Linda was so cute. She was excited for pictures. She asked me “when is it my turn for pictures?” (and I hadn’t even started yet) As Mommy Lorena was feeding baby Louie, I took the opportunity to take Linda’s photos. She had the cutest room! She was excited but I think she got a little embarrassed as the attention was all on her. She did great! We got some nice smiley photos along with some silly face photos.
Lorena’s husband is a firefighter so it was special to have his gear (along with baby Louie’s own gear) for the photos. It made for beautiful “props”. Baby Louie’s sweet demeanor made for perfect pictures! He just gazed at my while I took photos-amazing!
This weekend I met Veronica & Gustavo. Veronica is expecting their first child, a boy, in a few months. It was a super clear and warm day. It made the session comfortable for a November shoot on the beach! They were super relaxed and very photogenic. So many pictures came out great, that I had a hard time choosing which to edit! Still have more to do but these are some of my favorites!
Congratulations Veronica & Gustavo! Many blessings to your new little family.
This weekend I had the pleasure of spending some time with the Delgado Family. We were worried that it was going to rain and ruin our plans for pictures. Mike, with his oh-so-positive attitude said, “there’s a 70% chance it won’t rain!” Not only did it NOT rain, but there were beautiful big, white clouds! Sometimes shooting at the beach can be super bright and even have harsh light-I always hope for clouds. I’ve never gotten clouds like these babies!
Their girls, Madison and Vivi were in their comfort zones playing at the beach. Madison made little sand castles while Vivi chased the birds. That was before the REAL fun began, jumping in the water with all their clothes on! They enjoyed themselves while I snuck some shots in. Mommy and Daddy had to whisk them away after they were soaked in the beach water! We all had a great day. Thank you Mike & Rosie!
