Moku Ohana

This week was an amazingly fun week! Our family from Hawaii came to visit! We haven’t seen Michelle & Travis in 5 years! The last time we saw eachother, their little boy Taylor was only a few weeks old and I was pregnant with my (5 year old) son. Now they have 2 more children; beautiful little girls, Alia and Sady! We enjoyed eachothers family all week with a barbeque, late night chats, and a day at California Adventure. They also got to see and meet other family they haven’t seen in 15 years!

It was a great honor for me to take their family pictures! This is a first with all three children!

It was also a first to take family photos in an amusement park. It made a fun and nice backdrop!

Our Ohana will be leaving for Hawaii this evening. We’ll miss them but we’re definitely going to cherish these special memories! Til next time!

Mark & Iris [San Juan Capistrano, CA]

Yesterday was a gorgeous day! We went to San Juan Capistrano Mission. I hadn’t been there since my elementary school days. It was my mission project. It made this that much cooler! ; ) Iris & Mark are getting married in Mexico next year, so she wanted something to reflect her Mexican destination wedding. It was a great choice! We were only there a short time, but I captured tons of great shots!

Mark & Iris were high school sweethearts. They’ve had a passionate relationship; Mark never letting Iris away from his heart. He proposed and they’ll be starting their life as husband and wife next year.

Bryan & Marcy [Upland, CA]

Twins!

Last week I shot these precious twin baby girls! I’ve never photographed twins before. It was very fascinating how different they were! They’re just 2 months old!. Lindsey was smaller and fisty. Lauren was plump and content. According to Mommy Irene, one is like Mommy and one is like Daddy. I won’t say who is who, though. : ) I got some sweet shots, some sleeping, some content, and others showing their little personalities.

Karisa & Kaylee

This Saturday I had the pleasure of meeting and working with the Williams Family. The weather was perfect for portraits-unlike its been for last few weeks. Karisa did so well and I captured great shots of her! She’ll be 3 in September. I think she’s been the best cooperating 2/3 year old I’ve shot! Baby Kaylee was just as sweet! My favorites are of Karisa and her Daddy playing with bubbles and the girls together..

Gianna

Yesterday I had the funnest session with the cutest baby girl, ever! When I arrived she was sleeping cozily in her Mommy’s arms. When we put her down for “sleeping pictures” her bright blue eyes popped open! It was all smiles from then on.. It brought me back to the days of infancy for my babies, sniff sniff..

Gianna made this the easiest session! She’s absolutely gorgeous and all she did was smile! She was so sweet, cooing at us while we got her attention.

As I was looking through the unedited photos to select the “winners” I couldn’t stop clicking! My husband came up behind me and said “wait, click on that one. Oh, what about that one?”

Little Gianna is 6 months and these are her first (definitely not her last) professional photos. Looks like she’s ready to be a model!
